Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 20, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Meridian Recovery Group website and online payment service (together, the "Service"). By accessing the Service or submitting a payment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
The Service lets you locate an account that has been referred to Meridian Recovery Group for collection, review the balance, and make a payment toward it. This is an attempt to collect a debt, and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. This communication is from a debt collector.
2. Eligibility and authorization
You must be at least 18 years old and the authorized cardholder, or have the cardholder's permission, to make a payment. By submitting a payment, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.
3. Payments
- All payments are processed in US Dollars (USD).
- You may pay your balance in full or submit a partial payment in an amount you choose, subject to any minimum shown at checkout.
- By submitting payment, you authorize a one-time charge to the card you provide for the amount you enter.
- The amount you submit is independently verified by our servers before the charge is completed; the verified amount controls in the event of any discrepancy.
4. Confirmation and receipts
After a successful payment, we provide a confirmation and send a receipt to the email address you supply. The receipt includes your confirmation number, the amount paid, and the date. Please retain it for your records. A payment is not complete until it has been authorized and confirmed.
5. Posting of payments
Authorized payments are applied to your account promptly. Depending on your financial institution, it may take one or more business days for the charge to appear on your statement and for your balance to reflect the payment.
6. Refunds and disputes
If you believe a payment was made in error, in the wrong amount, or without authorization, contact us promptly at the number or email below so we can review it. Where a payment is found to have been made in error or in excess of the amount owed, we will work with you and, where appropriate, the original creditor to issue a correction or refund to the original payment method. Nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable law or your card network's dispute procedures.
7. Accuracy of information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using the Service, including a valid account reference and billing details. We are not responsible for payments that cannot be applied because of inaccurate information you provide.
8. Security
Information you submit through the Service is encrypted in transit, and we design our payment process to limit the handling of sensitive card data. You are responsible for keeping your own device, browser, and email account secure. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
9. Consumer rights and disclosures
You have rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and applicable state law. These may include the right to dispute the debt, to request that we verify the debt, and to be free from communications that are unfair, deceptive, or abusive. Using this Service to make a payment does not waive these rights. If you wish to dispute a debt or request verification, contact us using the details below.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Meridian Recovery Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, except to the extent such limitation is prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where federal law or the law of your state of residence applies to the underlying debt or to consumer protections.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
